What's On We have a section in our latest copy of Megillah which lists all the religious and social events planned for the next two months. Here is a brief list current as at 9th March 2010 compiled from Megillah, our email "E-Kedem" and other sources. If you wish to receive "E-Kedem" please send a requesting email. If you want to have an event placed here you need to get it into E-Kedem. Friday 12th March: - Kabbalat Shabbat Dinner at the home of Lionel Green and Marg Visbord. Sunday 14th March: - 11.00 am Sharp. A visit to the Jewish Museum of Australia, 26 Alma Road, St Kilda - to explore the exhibition "Women in the Bible: Tricksters, Victors & (M)others. Sunday 14th March: - Kedem Book Club 8.00pm. The next book is Anne Michaels 'Fugitive Pieces'. Please RSVP a few days before for catering & address of venue. All welcome. The next dates for the Kedem Book Club are: 6th June @ 8 pm, 5th Sept @ 8 pm, 5th December @ 8pm. Services will be followed by a pot-luck lunch - BYO your favourite Pesach recipes. Tuesday 30th March: - Festival Service for first day Pesach 10.00 am at KDS hall. Guest D'var Torah giver is Danya Sterling. Talking about her time in Mongolia and her other fascinating experiences in the Aid community. Saturday 3rd April: - Regular Shabbat service 10.00 at KDS hall. Chol Hamoed Pesach. A special call up and Kiddush to farewell Miri and Greg Epstein. Monday 5th April: - Festival Service for seventh day Pesach 10.00 am at KDS hall. Saturday 1st May: - Lag B'Omer evening event - TBA Friday 14th May: - Kabbalat Shabbat Dinner.
