SEPTEMBER
Thursday 26th September: First event with Dahlia Shaham at 730pm! Circles of Women - A women only gathering. PLEASE RSVP to Rosi .
Saturday 28th September: Shabbat Nitzavim. Service for the Soul. 9.50 for a 10.00 am start at the home of Liz and Peter. Dahlia Shaham to give the drash and lead the music. Come along and try this Jewish Renewal style of service, using Rabbi Marcia Prager’s siddur. Bring a vegetarian plate to share for Kiddush. PLEASE RSVP to Ruth.
Monday 30th September: First Day Rosh Hashanah Festival service at 10.00 Don't forget to bring your HH ticket and the red covered Mishkan T'Shuva. Contact Rosi if you haven't yet purchased the new prayer books
OCTOBER
Tuesday 1st October: 10 am Second Day Rosh Hashanah. An innovative musical service led by Dahlia, followed by Tashlich at Elwood beach. We will put our prayers into action; discerning between what we let go of and what we keep this New Year. Kids always welcome!
Friday 4th October: Kabbalat Shabbat dinner. Welcome Aran and Nouri! 5.45 pm for Master Chef cooking with Aran. 6.30 pm for dinner. Kids always welcome!
Saturday 5th October:10 am Shabbat Shuva, morning service. Followed by the monthly Torah Portion discussion group, approximately 12.15 pm – 2 pm. Dahlia will be co-leading the service and participating in the Torah portion discussion group. Kids always welcome! Bring a plate for a light lunch. PLEASE RSVP to Rosi .
Sunday 6th October: 7.15 for a 7.30 start, Waging Peace in the Holy Land. Part 2: Feminine Leadership. Continuing last year's presentation, this one will zoom in on the role of women in changing the reality of conflict and creating an environment of peace. We'll explore the causes of war from a feminist perspective and dig deep into the Biblical roots of the "demographic threat" perception and patriarchy. Then we'll learn how these painful wounds can be, and are being, addressed and healed by a rising movement of feminine social, political and spiritual leadership, ending the evening with song and prayer. Tickets $15 (Kedem members $10).
Tuesday 8th October: 7 pm Kol Nidrei Service. Dahlia will be co-leading the service and giving the drash. Kids always welcome!
Wednesday 9th October: 10.30 am Yom Kippur Services all day. Dahlia will be co-service lead for the morning, Musuf and Neilah services and lead the afternoon study session, entitled, "The 10 Social Commandments!". Inclusive family service - led by Tal Spinrad for kids of all ages and abilities and their families 11.30 - 12.15.
Saturday 12th October : Spin A Story music night 7pm. Limited space so RSVP essential to Rosi.
Sunday 13th October : 6 pm Erev Sukkot. Decorations and dinner to welcome Sukkot. Kids always welcome! RSVP to Rosi and for venue details.

Wednesday 16th October: 7.30 pm Discussion: "Exploring Interfaith Marriage in the Jewish World of Today." PLEASE RSVP to Rosi and for venue details.
Saturday 19th October: 10 am – 2 pm. A Sukkot outing in a beautiful open parkland with lakeside views, walking and bike paths……. and BBQ Master chef class with Aran! Kids always welcome! RSVP essential to Rosi so we can notify you of change of venue in bad weather.
Sunday 20th October: 6 pm Erev Shmini Atzeret/Simchat Torah service and farewell dinner. Kids always welcome!
Monday 21st October: 10 am Shmini Atzeret/Simchat Torah Morning Service. Includes Hallel and Yizkor. Join Dahlia for the last festival service of this High Holyday season and the last event with us. Kids always welcome!
