PRAY

Vibrant, interesting, community-led services.
The atmosphere at our shul services is warm, informal and uplifting, with lots of live music.

But…”where’s the Rabbi?’

This question is often asked by visitors to Kedem.

Each week, different members of the community lead the services. By combining the skills of the members, our services are educated, innovative and engaging.

You may like to take active roles in the services, or just come and pray – everyone is welcome.

We are committed to equality and progressive ideas.
Families sit together and everyone can participate equally in all aspects of the service.  Both young and older members leyn from Torah and lead the music.

Shabbat and all Chaggim are celebrated with joy, song and food!

We love music at Kedem.
We include lots of singing in our services, and guitar accompaniment.

“Every service is different. I’ve never given a drash or leyned, but I love coming to the services and seeing the different faces and hearing the different ideas and viewpoints”
